If you feel like you would like to have a go at presenting on the Radio and have the spare time available feel free to contact myself or RobK via the pm function on this site, have a look at the schedule and see if any slots fit in with yourself.
We will help you with any questions you may have about using the software and setting it up as well, you can even try it out first with a 14 day trial version of the software to see if you like it. I had ago back in June and was very nervous but once I used it a few times got the hang of it very quickly, I'm sure you will to the only other thing is you'll need some music of your own as we cannot supply any for you for legal reasons.

Presenting on SkyUser Radio gives you the opportunity to play the music you would like to hear.
As a presenter you can choose to simply play music, or to have a show where you have a chat to your listeners, maybe throw in a little quiz or two. In other words, have a show like you would hear on a regular radio station. Some of our presenters at the moment choose to play music with no voiceovers. I like to chat to the listeners, and I encourage them to email me while I'm on air. The style of show is entirely up to the presenter. We have guideline of course, which forbids the use of songs with swearing etc. but as long as you stay within those guidelines, you are free to play what you want. Just remember that your music must have been obtained legally. If you would like to try a test broadcast, let me know and Peter or I can arrange it for you. As Peter mentioned in his post, it can be a bit scary at first, but it soon becomes second nature, and actually really enjoyable. |

Hi,
First sorry for late reply, as you have read I'm sure your music must be original and from cd's. Do you own a headset with microphone I ask as then we can discuss how it will work, a quick run down below We give you a link to download a 14 day trial of Sam broadcaster software and will let you have the setting to input into it the Sam once you have done that and told Sam where your music is then we will let you try presenting. you can speak to us by downloading Ventrilo and enter the information from this link http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/skyus...-ventrilo.html

As long as your PC can use Windows Media Player, then you need to use some software which is similar.
If you want to speak on your shows, you would need a microphone, if not, just play music
